  Detail

OpenVCM-Lear_W is a linear open source VCM made of parts (permanent magnet, steel washer) that are readily available to anyone and an plastic parts printed on a 3D printer.

The actuator specifications are maximum displacement : 10 mm, drive voltage : 3.3 or 5 V, coil resistance : 32 ohm, maximum magnetic force : 2 N.

The downsides are the heavy weight of the drive parts and magnet force is insufficient because it uses only steel washers in the magnetic circuit
